fishbowl design was founded in 2004 and is based in San Jose, California by Gregory Hom and Tracy Powers. They started fishbowl design after working in the business for more than 25 years and found that as they grew in title within a company the less they were designing and the less they were interacting with clients. Wanting to get back to that more personal service they opted to keep their business small and nimble.
With this approach it has allowed them to provide more focus and attention in delivering strategic branding solutions that meets both the business needs as well as the emotional needs. They work with companies, from start-ups to those on the Fortune 500 list, to help them create branded experiences through multiple mediums (from paper to pixels as they like to say). And they have also been called upon by other studios to assist in the creative development process, including frog design, OIC, Bonfire Communications and Tesser.
